Legacy Through Leadership

This year’s Annual Training Symposium invites attendees to take a deep dive into the importance of leadership in the policing field, and promises to leave you inspired to continue carrying on legacy of this noble profession.

The California Police Chiefs Association’s Annual Training Symposium provides professional development and networking opportunities for California’s police chiefs, their seconds in command and management staff. The symposium provides up to 13 hours of POST CPT from the 9 workshops offered during the program. Attendees get caught up on the latest in innovations in training, officer wellness and legislative and legal issues. The event also includes an expo hall where attendees can see the latest in public safety technology and other products and services.

Registration to the Annual Training Symposium includes:

  • Up to 13 POST CPT credits
  • 9 workshops and 3 Keynotes to choose from
  • Access to CPCA exclusive companies at the Expo Hall
  • All meal functions and social activities.
    • Meals included: 3 lunches, 1 breakfast, coffee each morning, and 1 dinner.

This conference is POST certified for training credits only (no reimbursement). POST Control #TBD

Please note that individuals who are employed by or represent a company, or service provider are not eligible to register as general attendees. Participation is reserved for those who are attending as a current or retired member of a policing agency. Company representatives are encouraged to explore sponsorship or exhibitor opportunities instead.

Registration Fee Policy
Registration fees must be paid in full 30 business days prior to the event, or your registration will be canceled for non-payment (last day to pay is February 7th, 2025). If you are registering for an event within 30 business days prior to the event you must pay the registration fee in full at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Carlin Cline.
  2. Cancellations received on or before February 7th, 2025 will receive a full refund.
  3. Cancellations received from February 8th, 2025 to February 27th, 2025 will be subject to a $100 administrative fee. 
  4. Cancellations received on or after February 28, 2025 will not receive a refund.
  5. No shows forfeit full registration

Substitution Policy

All substitutions must be made by February 27th. After that time, all substitutions must be made onsite at check-in.
